BANDAI SPIRITS' collector's toy division "TAMASHII NATIONS" in Japan, under its "PROPLICA" series which utilizes the latest technology to faithfully recreate in-series props, has announced its newest product, the "PROPLICA Nichirin Sword (Giyu Tomioka)", coinciding with the broadcast of the "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Hashira Training Arc" anime! The suggested retail price is 18,700 JPY, and it is scheduled for release in January 2025.
The "PROPLICA Nichirin Sword (Giyu Tomioka)" is crafted in a 1:1 true scale, with a total length of 95 cm, calculated based on Giyu Tomioka's established height. Under official supervision, the authentic texture of the Nichirin Sword is thoroughly reproduced. It faithfully recreates the beautiful light blue blade, features the engraved "Destroyer of Demons" (惡鬼滅殺) characters, and meticulously crafts the distinctive tsuba (handguard). It comes with a dedicated Nichirin Sword scabbard and a special display stand.
Equipped with sound effects, it can activate "Water Breathing," including cool slashing sounds and sword-sheathing sounds to enhance immersion. Additionally, it includes the BGM "Giyu Tomioka's Theme ~ Tanjiro's Battle ~ Demon Slayer Corps" and features two modes for playing Giyu Tomioka's lines: "Demon Slayer Corps Mode" and "Successor of Water Breathing Mode," offering a variety of dialogue sound effects.
