GOOD SMILE COMPANY's popular "Nendoroid" series, boasting over a thousand different figures, is set to release its latest product based on the hit video game Elden Ring: the "Nendoroid Vagabond Knight"! Priced at 8,580 JPY, it is scheduled for release in October 2024.
Elden Ring, a Souls-like action RPG developed by FromSoftware and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment, was co-created by game producer Hidetaka Miyazaki and fantasy novelist George R.R. Martin. The game is set in the Lands Between, where the once-whole Elden Ring shattered, scattering its fragments, the Great Runes, across the land. The numerous demigods who held these larger fragments, the Great Runes, were driven to madness by the Ring's power, sparking the Shattering. Players can choose from three classes—the Vagabond Knight, Warrior, and Hero—to explore this vast world. The Vagabond Knight comes equipped with armor and primarily uses defensive weapons like a greatshield and greatsword, capable of withstanding significant damage.
The "Nendoroid Vagabond Knight" articulated figure, at approximately 10 cm tall with a chibi design, faithfully recreates the Vagabond Knight's battle-damaged helmet, intricate armor, and cape. It includes two interchangeable face plates: a standard face that only reveals the mouth, and a shouting face. Paired with accessories such as the "Longsword," "Iron Roundshield," "Torch," and "Flask of Crimson Tears," you can recreate various scenes from the game. Especially noteworthy is the "YOU DIED" effect sheet included as a bonus with purchases from the Good Smile Company Online Store—it's an absolute must-have!
