BANDAI SPIRITS Company's HOBBY Division, which produces the robot assembly model "HG (High Grade)" series in Japan, today announced the latest product from "Armored Trooper VOTOMS", the "HG Scope Dog Expansion Parts Set 3", scheduled for release in September 2024.
The official main AT "ATM-09-ST Scope Dog", developed by the Gilgamesh Army, was the most mass-produced unit during the Hundred Years' War. In the series, it is not only the AT model that protagonist Chirico Cuvie is most skilled at piloting, but its extremely high versatility also led to its modification into various derivative specifications, used across different units. This model's head is equipped with a triple rotating lens that can switch between standard, sniper, and wide-angle modes, transmitting raw visual information to the pilot's helmet. In addition to its retractable armored fist and leg-mounted rollers for high-speed movement, the unit can also carry various live ammunition weapons via handheld, backpack, and limb hardpoints.
The "HG Scope Dog Expansion Parts Set 3" product includes a rich array of armaments such as the "Scavenger Dog Mission Backpack", "Blade Antenna Mission Backpack", "PRSP Backpack", "Magazine Parts x4", and "Multi-Purpose Launcher". Each type of armament also features precise part separation and color molding. By utilizing the included new exterior armor parts in dark green and light green molding colors for modification, you can change the Scope Dog's armament appearance.
By combining this product with various separately sold expansion parts sets and the "HG Scope Dog" main unit, you can not only freely customize it using the common 3mm expansion ports, but also recreate various specifications that appeared in the OVA anime, such as the "Scope Dog Sansa Battle Major Lehman's Unit", "Scope Dog Red Shoulder Member Unit TYPE I", "Scope Dog Red Shoulder Member Unit TYPE II", "Brute Dog", and more!
