GOOD SMILE COMPANY, a Japanese figure manufacturer, today announced the latest product from its affordable pre-painted figure series 'POP UP PARADE': "Summoned Skull L size" from Yu-Gi-Oh!, slated for release in November 2024.
The Fiend-Type monster card Summoned Skull was one of the powerful monster cards with 2500 ATK in the early OCG environment, which lacked complex effects. In the original manga, it also appeared as Yami Yugi's ace monster card used in his first duel against Kaiba, and its signature move was a lightning-attribute attack called "Lightning Strike," which could produce unexpected effects when combined with the Spell Card "Mystical Space Typhoon" or the field's water currents.
"POP UP PARADE Summoned Skull L size" recreates the standing pose with an imposing height of approximately 22 cm. Based on the original illustration's settings, the figure meticulously captures the muscle fibers, the rough surface of the skeletal armor, and the brushstroke lines across its entire body. Its massive and sharp wings, along with the clawed hands and feet, further enhance the figure's imposing presence.
