Japanese figure manufacturer Good Smile Company Shanghai branch, Good Smile Arts Shanghai, today announced the latest product from the popular mobile game "Goddess of Victory: NIKKE", the "Guren 1/7 Scale Figure", scheduled for release in May 2025.
The NIKKE "Guren", a member of the Pioneer squad, is a wandering swordswoman who, in a world dominated by firearms, is one of the few to wield a blade and wear a large conical hat. A century ago, she was part of a mass-produced NIKKE unit for close-quarters combat, defending against the first Rapture invasion. Ultimately, she was the sole survivor, and the weapon in her hand, "Hana Mu Jikka Kou" (Flowers Don't Last Ten Days), is a memento from her fallen sister. Though the current Guren has transformed from a belligerent warrior into someone weary and drowning her sorrows in alcohol, her exquisite swordsmanship can still cut down countless Raptures.
The "Guren 1/7 Scale Figure" is a pre-painted complete product, standing approximately 27 cm tall, based on the character's in-game illustration. Her slightly tipsy smile showcases Guren's cuteness and cool allure. The intricate sculpting meticulously recreates her smooth hair, the complex layered attire, and her voluptuous figure hidden beneath her large armaments. Especially noteworthy are the fabric strips hanging from her conical hat and sword, which are rendered with delicate folds to convey a soft texture.
The attire utilizes paintwork with varying degrees of gloss to express the different textures of each part. Patterns and embroidery designs on the waist belt are also faithfully reproduced through printing. Her iconic weapon, "Hana Mu Jikka Kou", also features precise sculpting and paintwork, recreating details such as the rivets on the hilt and the silvery-white blade. The head part can be swapped using interchangeable back hair components to display two styles: with or without the conical hat, allowing enjoyment of details difficult to see in the game from various angles.
