The popular action figure series 『S.H.Figuarts』, released by TAMASHII NATIONS, the collector's toy division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Company, announced today the confirmed commercialization of "Guel Jeturk" from 《Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury》. The release date is yet to be determined.
Guel Jeturk, the young master of Jeturk House, one of the Benerit Group's three major corporations, possesses excellent piloting skills but is arrogant and hot-tempered. At Asticassia School of Technology, he often acted as he pleased, leveraging his family's influence and an undefeated dueling record. However, after being overwhelmingly defeated by the transfer student protagonist, "Suletta Mercury," and subsequently forced to withdraw from school by his father, he plummeted overnight from a high-flying rich heir to rock bottom. He later endured tragic events such as accidentally killing his father and being kidnapped by terrorists. Upon his return to the public eye, he had become significantly more mature and composed, serving as another crucial character who contrasts with Suletta and evolves from rival to friend.
Currently, only partial product images for "S.H.Figuarts Guel Jeturk" have been released. However, combining these with previously exhibited prototypes, it can be seen that the product will include dedicated parts to recreate the "arms crossed" pose. The head will also feature interchangeable parts to depict his early "young master" appearance, as well as his "true protagonist" form after experiencing real-world hardships towards the end of the series.
