Chinese toy brand HIYA Toys' high-quality action figure series, Exquisite Mini, is launching a new product based on the American horror film "The Texas Chain Saw Massacre" – the "LeatherFace" 1/18 scale action figure. The suggested retail price is US$24.99, with an estimated release in the first quarter of 2025!
Released in 1974, "The Texas Chain Saw Massacre" was inspired by true events, directed by Tobe Hooper and co-written by Kim Henkel. The story follows a group of young people traveling through rural Texas who stumble upon a cabin filled with human bones and bizarre decorations, where they encounter a deranged butcher wearing a mask made of human skin. The film's extreme violence, gore, and oppressive atmosphere have cemented "The Texas Chain Saw Massacre" as a classic in horror cinema history, with the image of "LeatherFace" becoming an iconic part of popular culture.
This 1/18 scale LeatherFace action figure stands approximately 10.8 cm tall, faithfully recreating his corpulent physique, messy curly hair, and human skin mask from the film. The paint application meticulously captures his mud-splattered leather shoes and trousers, while the bloodstains covering his entire body intensify the sense of horror and dread! Accessories include his iconic hammer, chainsaw, and other killing tools. Coupled with 15 points of articulation throughout the body and a wooden floor-style base featuring blood and gore marks, this figure perfectly reproduces his terrifying and formidable presence!
