Danish LEGO toy company yesterday (28th) announced the latest product from Nintendo's classic action-adventure game The Legend of Zelda series: "77092 Great Deku Tree 2-in-1"! It is expected to be released on September 1, 2024, with a suggested retail price of US$299.99.
The first installment of "The Legend of Zelda (ゼルダの伝説)" was a role-playing video game released in 1986 on Nintendo's Famicom Disk System. Since then, classic and enjoyable sequels have been continuously released on various Nintendo gaming platforms. In 2017, "Breath of the Wild," which featured open-world gameplay and received extremely high praise in the gaming industry, introduced many toy enthusiasts to the excellent masterpiece of "The Legend of Zelda," making Hyrule a second home for all you heroes! The "Great Deku Tree" first appeared in "The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time" as the forest guardian, an ancient talking sacred tree that plays an important role in the hero Link's adventures throughout the entire Legend of Zelda series.
This set contains a total of 2500 pieces. Its biggest selling point is the ability to recreate two versions of the Great Deku Tree from "Breath of the Wild" and "Ocarina of Time," as well as 3 versions of Link and Princess Zelda minifigures. It also includes classic items from "The Legend of Zelda" series, such as the Master Sword, Hylian Shield, Traveler's Shield, Sheikah Slate, Ocarina of Time, and more. Owning these items will truly excite LEGO fans who love video games! The scene also features many printed Korok parts and a brick-built Hestu. When you choose to build the Ocarina of Time version of the Great Deku Tree, you can also use additional parts to create Link's treehouse to go along with it, and the Great Deku Tree's silhouette is exceptionally well-rendered.
This minifigure lineup allows you to collect Young Link and Adult Link from "Ocarina of Time," as well as Link in his Champion's Tunic from "Breath of the Wild"! Princess Zelda's torso printing is also exceptionally beautiful.
