The robot assembly model "HG (High Grade)" series, launched by Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Hobby Division, today announced the upcoming release of its latest product from "Armored Trooper VOTOMS," the "HG Scope Dog Expansion Parts Set 5," scheduled for September 2024.
Developed by the Gilgamesh Army, the official main AT "ATM-09-ST Scope Dog" was the most mass-produced unit during the Hundred Years' War. In the series, it was not only the AT model protagonist Chirico Cuvie was most skilled at piloting, but its extremely high versatility also led to its modification into various derivative specifications, utilized across different units. This model's head is equipped with a triple rotary lens that can switch between standard, sniper, and wide-angle modes, transmitting raw visual information to the pilot's helmet. In addition to its extendable arm-mounted armored punch and leg-mounted roller dash for high-speed movement, the unit can also carry various live ammunition armaments via handheld, backpack, and limb hardpoints.
The "HG Scope Dog Expansion Parts Set 5" product includes "Night Raider Leg Parts," "Brutish Dog Leg Parts," and "DOGMAN Exclusive Machine Front Skirt Parts." It also comes with part frames such as "Dark Green Molded Replacement Armor" and "Light Green Molded Customization Armor."
By combining this product with various other expansion parts sets (sold separately) and the "HG Scope Dog" main unit, not only can you freely customize it using the common 3mm expansion ports, but you can also recreate various specifications that appeared in the OVA anime, such as "Scope Dog Sansa Battle Major Lehman's Machine," "Scope Dog Red Shoulder Member Machine TYPE I," "Scope Dog Red Shoulder Member Machine TYPE II," and "Brutish Dog"!
