Japanese company TAITO recently announced on X (formerly Twitter) a new addition to their Aqua Float Girls prize figure series, which features anime characters in swimsuit poses: a "Marin Kitagawa" figure from "My Dress-Up Darling"!

"My Dress-Up Darling" follows protagonist Wakana Gojo, who, influenced by his grandfather, passionately crafts Hina dolls and aspires to become a master artisan. His secret hobby is discovered by his classmate Marin Kitagawa, who, impressed by his talent, asks him to create cosplay outfits for her. Despite his shy and introverted nature, Wakana agrees to Marin's persistent requests, thus beginning a heartwarming and sometimes embarrassing relationship filled with shared interests and dreams!

This swimsuit rendition is inspired by the anime's second episode, where Marin first visited Wakana's home for measurements for her custom cosplay outfit. To ease Wakana's embarrassment, Marin decided to wear a swimsuit for the fitting. The figure captures Marin dynamically seated in an inner tube, faithfully recreating her black bikini with yellow floral patterns. Her graceful body curves are meticulously sculpted. The figure itself can be displayed separately from the inner tube, and Marin's mischievous smile as she flashes a peace sign forward is absolutely captivating!
