The original plastic model kit series 『30MINUTES MISSIONS』, released by BANDAI SPIRITS Hobby Division in Japan, known for its easy assembly and free customization features, recently announced the upcoming release of its latest products, 「EXM-H15D Acerby TYPE-D」 and 「EXM-H15E Acerby TYPE-E」, scheduled for October and December 2024 respectively.
In its lore, the EXM-H15 Acerby series is a new mobile suit used by the "Maxion Army," a third faction intervening between the Earth Alliance and Byron Army. The mechanical design for this unit was handled by the renowned illustrator Shimada Fumikane, who has contributed to the design of numerous mecha musume (girl-type mecha) plastic models. Currently, five specifications have been announced: TYPE-A, B, C, D, and E. They feature cute glowing eyes, hair-like armor mimicking human hairstyles, and a highly articulated body design with feminine characteristics.

The 「EXM-H15D Acerby TYPE-D」 and 「EXM-H15E Acerby TYPE-E」 are modifications of previously released Acerby series base bodies. Aside from differences in molded part colors, the two models are fundamentally identical. They utilize numerous new parts to recreate the exterior armor design. The helmet visor is made from clear parts and features a deployment mechanism; the visor part can also be detached and stored at the waist. The new weapon, the "Energy Blade," also uses clear parts for the blade and allows the sheath to be detached. The new armor can be equipped on the shoulders and waist, featuring numerous 3mm expansion ports for free customization with other products in the same series.
