BANDAI SPIRITS Hobby Division, known for its original '30MINUTES MISSIONS' (30MM) model kit series featuring easy assembly and free customization, has announced its latest collaborative product with 'Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon', the 'RaD CC-2000 ORBITER LOADER 4', scheduled for release in December 2024.
'Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon' is the latest installment in the 'Armored Core' series, developed by FromSoftware, marking its return after a decade. The story is set on the remote planet Rubicon 3, where humanity discovered a mysterious new substance called Coral. Initially believed to be a new energy source capable of vastly advancing technology, it instead brought about a catastrophic disaster that engulfed the entire star system. Nearly a century later, the terrifying Coral has become a target of contention for extra-terrestrial corporations and resistance groups. Players will once again assume the role of the mercenary pilot 'Raven', infiltrating Rubicon and gradually delving into the heart of this storm of conflict.
The LOADER 4, the initial Armored Core used by the player-controlled mercenary protagonist 'C4-621 Raven', finally makes its debut in the 30MM series. Utilizing the 30MM series' signature features of easy assembly and free customization, it is produced as a model kit approximately 13 cm tall. The overall parts largely reuse those from the previously released same-spec unit, the 'NIGHTFALL', with adjustments made to the part molding colors. Not only does it faithfully reproduce high-density armor details with precise sculpting, but each RaD-manufactured part also adopts the series' common construction, allowing for free customization just like in the game's settings.
