BANDAI SPIRITS Hobby Division of Japan recently announced that the latest product, 「Liber Fighter」, from the new branch of their original assembly model series 『30 MINUTES』, 『30 MINUTES FANTASY』, is scheduled for release in November 2024.
『30 MINUTES FANTASY』 is a new series themed around various fantasy world classes. It inherits the characteristics of 30 MINUTES, such as easy assembly, simple structure, and infinite expansion and customization. It allows for the assembly of highly articulated base bodies that are as flexible as the human body. By utilizing the 3mm expansion ports on various parts of the base body, different class exteriors can be attached. As the product lineup expands, characters can gradually upgrade from beginner classes to advanced classes, akin to the job change system in RPGs, continuously strengthening the character.
The story of 『30 MINUTES FANTASY』 is set in a world that has lost its civilization. Environmental changes occurred due to meteor showers impacting Earth, and the rapid spread of "Elements," substances harmful to humans, drastically reduced the population. To overcome this predicament, a group of scientists successfully developed "Element Cores" and mechanical lifeforms called "Maximilian (tentative translation)." Humans utilized their power to regain the ability to survive and established multiple nations. These include the "Liber Republic," which chose to coexist with Maximilian, and the "Lausan Empire," which chose to dominate Maximilian.
The 「30MF Liber Fighter」 utilizes a new type of humanoid base body, different from the previous "Knight", possessing a more robust and heavy physique. The articulated parts also boast flexibility akin to that of a real human. Thanks to the multi-axis articulation design in the limbs, chest, waist, neck, and other areas, it can be posed in natural and cool stances such as running, heroic landings, high kneeling, and cross-legged sitting.
The base body features numerous 3mm connection ports of a common standard, allowing for the attachment of cool armor parts, an Earth-element Element Core, an axe, and a shield to form the "Liber Fighter." It has a head sculpt and color scheme distinct from the enemy nation's "Lausan Fighter." Notably, the shoulder and waist armor are not directly attached to the main body but are connected to articulated axes on the back. This reduces interference with limb articulation and expands the range of motion, enabling powerful combat poses.
