BANDAI SPIRITS Hobby Division's original model kit series '30 MINUTES' has announced a new branch, '30 MINUTES FANTASY', with the latest products "Class Up Armor (Rozan Warrior)" and "Class Up Armor (Rozan Viking)" scheduled for release in December 2024.
'30 MINUTES FANTASY' is a new series themed around various fantasy world classes. Inheriting the '30 MINUTES' characteristics of easy assembly, simple structure, and infinite customization, it allows for the creation of highly articulated base bodies that mimic human flexibility. By utilizing the 3mm expansion ports on various parts of the base body, different class exteriors can be attached, enabling characters to progressively upgrade from beginner to advanced classes as the product lineup expands, much like a job change system in an RPG.
The story of '30 MINUTES FANTASY' is set in a world that has lost its civilization. Due to meteor showers impacting Earth, the environment underwent drastic changes, and the human-harming substance "Element" rapidly spread, causing a significant decline in population. To overcome this crisis, a group of scientists successfully developed the "Element Core" and the mechanical lifeform "Maximilian (tentative translation)". Humans utilized their power to restore their ability to survive and established multiple nations, including the "Libre Republic", which chose to coexist with Maximilian, and the "Rozan Empire", which chose to dominate Maximilian.
These two sets of Class Up Armor are enhancement parts designed for use with the separately sold "Rozan Fighter" main body. By utilizing the numerous common 3mm connection ports and pegs on the articulated base body, users can easily swap armor exteriors to complete a "job change" to an advanced class.
The Rozan Warrior is a CLASS III profession possessing superb combat skills and a robust physique, featuring a distinct design from the rival nation's "Libre Warrior". As a combat expert, they can effectively utilize short-handled weapons, long-handled weapons, and shields. By attaching the Warrior's Class Up Armor parts to the Fighter's original armor, the job change is completed. Precision molded parts faithfully reproduce the helmet's fur trim, armor horn decorations, and tattered fabric details. The original one-handed axe and shield can also be combined with the upgrade parts to form a polearm and an enhanced shield equipped with an Element Core.
The Rozan Viking is a CLASS III profession with formidable combat capabilities, specializing in wild fighting styles, and boasts a distinct design from the rival nation's "Libre Viking". The Rozan Viking features characteristic asymmetrical armor. By attaching the Viking's Class Up Armor parts to the Fighter's original armor, the job change is completed. Precision molded parts faithfully reproduce the thick fur on the right shoulder. The original one-handed axe and shield can also be combined with the upgrade parts to form a hammer-axe and an enhanced shield.
