American toy brand Sideshow Collectibles' Premium Format series has launched a new Star Wars-themed product – the "Captain Rex" 1/4 scale collectible statue. With a suggested retail price of US$995, it is now available for pre-order on the Sideshow official website, with an estimated shipping window from November 2024 to February 2025!
Clone Trooper Captain Rex, designation CT-7567, appeared in the Star Wars animated spin-off series "Star Wars: The Clone Wars." He served as Anakin Skywalker's second-in-command during the Clone Wars, possessing independent thought and a valiant personality. His resolute character also helped the protagonists overcome numerous crises, making him one of Anakin's most trusted companions.
This Captain Rex statue stands approximately 69 cm tall, meticulously recreating Captain Rex's appearance in a realistic style. Through weathering paint application, it faithfully reproduces the various marks left on his clone armor from his time on the battlefield, and also features the markings on his helmet used to record the number of battles he participated in. The statue depicts Captain Rex in a dynamic pose, jetting off into the air, and the base also features an LED light-up function, elevating the overall powerful presence!
