BANDAI SPIRITS HOBBY Division in Japan has announced that the latest collaborative product, "Weapon Set 02," from its original plastic model kit series '30MINUTES MISSIONS,' known for its easy assembly and customizable features, will be released in September 2024, in collaboration with Armored Core VI Fires of Rubicon.
Armored Core VI Fires of Rubicon is the latest installment in the Armored Core series, developed by FromSoftware, marking its return after a decade. The story is set on the remote planet "Rubicon 3," where humanity discovered a mysterious new substance called "Coral." Initially believed to be a new energy source capable of significantly advancing technology, it instead brought about a devastating catastrophe that engulfed the entire star system. Nearly a century later, the terrifying "Coral" has become a target of contention for extraterrestrial corporations and resistance groups. Players will once again assume the role of "Raven," a mercenary piloting a robot, infiltrating Rubicon and gradually delving into the heart of this storm of conflict.
"Weapon Set 02" is a standalone release of the armaments included with "RaD CC-2000 ORBITER Twilight." It features cool-looking weapons such as the "RF-025 SCUDDER Rifle," "PB-033M ASHMEAD Pile Bunker," "SONGBIRDS Grenade Cannon," and "BML-G1/P32DUO-03 6-Cell Missile Launcher." The "Pile Bunker" can replicate its deployed state through part swapping, while the "6-Cell Missile Launcher" and "Grenade Cannon" mounted on the back also come with dedicated parts for free installation on either the left or right shoulder.
