GOODSMILE COMPANY's "Nendoroid" series of articulated figures, boasting over a thousand different products, will release a new item based on the anime "Kaiju No. 8": "Nendoroid Mina Ashiro". It will have a suggested retail price of 7,300 JPY and is slated for release in November 2024!
The popular female character Mina Ashiro (亜白 ミナ) from the manga "Kaiju No. 8" by mangaka Naoya Matsumoto is the protagonist Hibino's childhood friend. The two had promised to join the Defense Force together when they were young. By the time Hibino joined, she was already the captain of the Defense Force's Third Division and a candidate for Division Commander.
The "Nendoroid Mina Ashiro" articulated figure stands approximately 10 cm tall, recreating Mina in her Defense Force uniform with an adorable Q-version design and two-head-tall proportion. Her sharp black ponytail, the armor, logo, and waist pouch of her combat uniform are meticulously detailed. It comes with three interchangeable face plates: a stern "serious face," a fierce "combat face," and a gentle "smiling face." Accessories include her important partner "Vahko," a "Defense Force mask," and her "special weapon," the massive heavy sniper cannon, among others. Enjoy recreating her heroic monster-slaying poses!
