BANDAI SPIRITS Hobby Division's highly popular character model kit series, "Figure-rise Standard", today officially announced the latest product from "Mobile Suit Gundam The Witch from Mercury", "Nika Nanaura", scheduled for release in October 2024.
One of the main characters, Nika Nanaura, is a second-year student in the Earth House's mechanical department. She loves machines and possesses excellent development and maintenance skills. She once modified a custom Demi Trainer for her friend Chuchu, considering it her masterpiece. She is also very interested in the Aerial Gundam piloted by Suletta, having repaired discarded parts to create a space-use flight unit for it. An orphan with no background, Nika's exceptional talent led Shaddiq to sponsor her, granting her admission in exchange for becoming his liaison with the anti-Spacian organization "Dawn of Fold," to realize Shaddiq's plan to balance Earth and space military power.
The "Figure-rise Standard Nika Nanaura" utilizes multi-color molded parts to recreate Nika in her uniform, with separate parts to reproduce the blue inner layer of her hair, as well as the inside of her mouth and teeth. The uniform uses new parts to expand the range of motion for the upper body, while soft plastic parts are used for the sleeves, allowing for scenes where she holds a tablet with both hands, as often seen in the show. Furthermore, the included interchangeable body parts can recreate a natural sitting pose.
Accessories include one pre-printed face part and two face parts that can be created with water decals, and the open-mouth expression can be chosen with or without visible teeth. Additionally, there are 10 different left and right interchangeable hand parts, a tablet computer, and more, allowing for free customization to recreate scenes from the show.
