BANDAI SPIRITS Hobby Division in Japan has announced that the latest product, "Rozan Fighter," from the new branch of their original assembly model series '30 MINUTES,' '30 MINUTES FANTASY,' is scheduled for release in December 2024.
'30 MINUTES FANTASY' is a new series themed around various fantasy world classes. Inheriting the '30 MINUTES' characteristics of easy assembly, simple structure, and infinite customization, it allows for the creation of highly articulated base bodies that mimic human flexibility. By utilizing the 3mm expansion ports on various parts of the base body, different class exteriors can be attached. As the product lineup expands, characters can progressively upgrade from beginner to advanced classes, much like an RPG's job change system, continuously strengthening the character.
The story of '30 MINUTES FANTASY' is set in a world that has lost its civilization. Due to meteor showers impacting Earth, environmental changes occurred, and the human-harming substance "Element" rapidly spread, drastically reducing the population. To overcome this crisis, a group of scientists successfully developed the "Element Core" and the mechanical lifeform "Maximilian (tentative translation)." Humans utilized their power to restore their ability to survive and established multiple nations, including the "Libre Republic," which chose to coexist with Maximilian, and the "Rozan Empire," which chose to dominate Maximilian.
"30MF Rozan Fighter" utilizes a new humanoid base body, distinct from the previous "Knight," featuring a more robust and heavy physique. The articulated parts also possess a flexibility akin to real humans, allowing for natural and dynamic poses such as running, heroic landings, high kneeling, and cross-legged sitting, thanks to the multi-axis articulation design in the limbs, chest, waist, and neck.
The base body features numerous 3mm connection ports of a common standard, allowing for the attachment of cool armor parts, an Earth-element Element Core, an axe, and a shield to form the "Rozan Fighter." It boasts a distinct head sculpt and color scheme compared to the rival "Libre Fighter." Notably, the shoulder and waist armor are not directly attached to the main body but are connected to articulated shafts on the back. This design reduces interference with limb articulation and expands the range of motion, enabling powerful combat poses.
