From Japanese figure manufacturer MEGAHOUSE's "Lucrea" character figure series comes the latest product based on the popular anime "My Hero Academia": the "Izuku Midoriya" 1/7 scale figure. It has a suggested retail price of 23,100 JPY and is scheduled for release in October 2024.
Izuku Midoriya, the protagonist of "My Hero Academia," nicknamed "Deku," initially possessed a somewhat timid and tearful personality, and was even a rare "Quirkless" individual in society. However, due to his deep admiration for the No. 1 Hero "All Might," he harbored immense aspirations of becoming a Pro Hero! His belief that he must put in several times more effort than others and be willing to self-sacrifice to help others earned him All Might's recognition, leading him to inherit the "One For All" torch.
The "Lucrea Izuku Midoriya" character figure stands approximately 18 cm tall. Inspired by a final arc battle scene from the anime, it exquisitely captures Izuku's dynamic pose as he unleashes his "Blackwhip" Quirk, rushing to save everyone! The black energy whips erupting from his hands are rendered perfectly with metallic colors, and the hues on his fingers and arms convey the pulsating power of One For All. The hero suit's details meticulously showcase fabric textures, and the entire figure is treated with realistic weathering and scuffs; his determined, gritted-teeth expression is incredibly cool!
