Japanese figure manufacturer Miyuki, known for producing high-quality anime character figures, has launched a new product based on the popular anime "Komi Can't Communicate" – the "Shoko Komi Summer Uniform Ver. Special Edition" 1/7 scale pre-painted figure. The suggested retail price is 23,900 JPY, with an anticipated release in March 2025!
"Komi Can't Communicate" (Komi-san wa, Comyushō desu.) is a manga created by Japanese artist Tomohito Oda, which was adapted into a TV anime by OLM in 2021. The story follows protagonist Hitohito Tadano who, by chance, encounters the school's super beautiful girl, Shoko Komi. After getting to know her, he discovers that her unapproachable demeanor actually stems from her communication disorder, and he decides to help Komi overcome her difficulties and make 100 friends.
This "Shoko Komi Summer Uniform Ver. Special Edition" 1/7 scale pre-painted figure stands approximately 26 cm tall. It meticulously sculpts Komi wearing her Itan Private High School summer uniform, with details such as the wrinkles on her shirt and pleated skirt, and the smooth texture of her black stockings, all perfectly recreated. The dynamic pose references the scene from the anime's OP2 where Komi floats in the classroom. The base features a classroom floor pattern, perfectly capturing Komi's quiet yet incredibly captivating charm from the series!
This special edition includes an interchangeable shy expression face part for Komi, allowing the figure to exude a different, adorable atmosphere compared to the regular version!
