With a suggested retail price of US$90, it is now available for pre-order on the MONDO Shop official website, with an estimated shipping date of October 2024!
According to the official website, this Michelangelo, like the previously released Leonardo and Donatello, is inspired by 90s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles works. It appears to primarily reference the classic cartoon series that aired from the 80s into the 90s, and the classic Playmates toy line. The color scheme pays homage to the bright green of the classic Playmates toys, and the vibrant clash with the orange eye mask greatly showcases Michelangelo's energy!
The sculpting meticulously captures Michelangelo's muscle lines and the textured details of his shell. His expression playfully shows his tongue sticking out, reflecting Michelangelo's fun-loving personality! Accessories include his signature weapon, the nunchaku, which can be perfectly stored on the back of his shell. The interior features a wire structure, allowing it to be bent and posed dynamically!
