Japanese figure manufacturer UNION CREATIVE Co., Ltd. (ユニオンクリエイティブ株式会社) has released its latest product, the "Yumeko Jabami" 1/6 scale figure, based on the popular series "Kakegurui - Compulsive Gambler". It is priced at 25,300 JPY and is scheduled for release in December 2024!
The Japanese manga series "Kakegurui - Compulsive Gambler" (賭ケグルイ), with Homura Kawamoto as the original author and Tōru Naomura as the artist, is set in Hyakkaou Private Academy, an elite school where everything is decided by gambling. All students vie for status through gambling, and the student council manages the school's casino, requiring "donations" to the council and even a class system where those who go bankrupt become "house pets." The intense, maniacal laughter and distorted expressions of the high school girls as they descend into the abyss of compulsive gambling have earned this work the reputation of a "face-breaking masterpiece."
Yumeko Jabami, the representative of the Jabami branch of the Momobami clan, is a mysterious transfer student with long black hair and a beautiful appearance. She is also a compulsive gambler, a fanatic who gets excited when gambling is mentioned, a stark contrast to her outward demeanor. She excels at gambling techniques and exposing cheating, enjoying and reveling in the thrill that comes from taking risks.
The UNION CREATIVE "Yumeko Jabami" 1/6 scale figure invites you to descend into the depths of compulsive gambling with Yumeko, sculpted in a substantial 33 cm size! It faithfully recreates Yumeko in her Hyakkaou Private Academy uniform, featuring a delicate houndstooth pleated skirt. The clothing drapes with wrinkles that accentuate her undeniable physique, and details such as metallic buttons, black stockings, and leather shoes are rendered with distinct textural differences through the paintwork. Her long black hair flows dynamically, with a gradient applied to the ends, and scattered playing cards accompany her, expressing the tension of the series through the overall dynamic pose! Her captivating, ecstatic expression is also a major highlight.
