American toy giant Sideshow Collectibles' "Premium Format Figure" product line recently unveiled a new MARVEL-themed creation, the "Wolverine: X-23 Uncaged" full body statue! Both a regular and an exclusive edition will be released simultaneously, with an estimated shipping date from January to April 2025, and suggested retail prices of US$685 and US$700 respectively.
As Wolverine's 23rd experimental clone, "X-23," originally named Laura Kinney, not only possesses powerful healing abilities and adamantium claws on her forearms, just like Wolverine, but also has indestructible claws extending from her feet. This allows X-23 to fight with both hands and feet, leveraging her physique for a more agile and swift combat style.
This three-dimensional rendition of X-23 stands approximately 52 cm tall, depicting a powerful scene of her battling drones within the X-Mansion's Danger Room training facility. X-23 is clad in her classic yellow and blue combat suit, its form-fitting cut fully showcasing her physique. Realistic sculpting of wrinkles and the dynamic flow of her long hair enhance the overall sense of movement. Her confident smile and the claws piercing the drone's head highlight X-23's mastery of her own power. The base, a mountain of scarred drone wreckage, further serves as the ultimate testament to X-23's strength.
▼ The exclusive edition, priced at US$700, will also include an additional unmasked Laura Kinney head sculpt.
