Mattel Creations, the online sales platform of American toy company Mattel that collaborates with fan creators to sell their works, will launch a new product in Mattel's 5.5-inch Masters of the Universe 'Origins' action figure series—the 'Night Stalker Vehicle' model. The suggested retail price is US$33, and it is expected to be available for order on the Mattel Creations official website starting at 09:00 AM Pacific Time on June 18, 2024!
Skeletor's vehicle, the 'Night Stalker,' was originally released in 1985 as part of the classic Masters of the Universe toy line. It did not appear in the comics included with the original Masters of the Universe toys or in the Filmation version of the classic Masters of the Universe animated series. Instead, it made its story debut later in the British version of the Masters of the Universe comic series, serving as the adversary to the Masters of the Universe faction's vehicle, 'Stridor,' and a nightmare for He-Man!
This Night Stalker vehicle model stands approximately 19 cm tall and is a reimagining based on the 1985 release. It is made from more vibrant and higher-quality plastic, with multiple new articulation points added to its legs, allowing for dynamic poses unachievable by the classic version! The metallic paint finish has also been significantly upgraded, and the circuit sticker print on Night Stalker's chest has been faithfully reproduced. Accessories include various laser effects and reins, perfect for pairing with the 5.5-inch action figures from the Origins series!
Furthermore, this release also includes a display stand to support Night Stalker's airborne poses. The box art is also exquisitely detailed and thoughtfully designed, recreating classic Masters of the Universe-style illustrations. From the packaging to the figure itself, it's incredibly cool!
