Following their previous releases of "Leonardo / Donatello," renowned poster design and toy company MONDO is now launching new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles-themed products. In addition to "Michelangelo," they are also introducing another new item—the "Mondo Gecko" soft vinyl figure. With a suggested retail price of US$105, it is now available for pre-order on the official MONDO Shop website, with an estimated shipping date of November 2024!
In the classic 1987 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles animated series, Mondo was originally just an ordinary gecko who accidentally fell into the sewers of New York City. Like the Turtles, he inadvertently came into contact with mutagenic ooze and was later found and adopted by the villain Mr. X. After Mondo met Michelangelo, he was persuaded by the Turtles to rise up and resist Mr. X, subsequently becoming the Turtles' good neighbor in the sewers.
This Mondo Gecko soft vinyl figure stands approximately 23 cm tall and pays homage to the original Playmates Ninja Turtles toy line. It faithfully recreates his vibrant appearance with light green skin and a yellow T-shirt, meticulously detailing the textures and patterns on his skin. The figure also includes his skateboard accessory equipped with boosters. Every detail on this figure is truly astonishing!
