The "GGG (Gundam Girls Generation)" character figure series, released by Japanese model manufacturer Megahouse, which three-dimensionalizes female characters from the "Mobile Suit Gundam" series with exquisite sculpting, recently announced that a new product from the theatrical anime film "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM", "Lacus Clyne Pilot Suit ver.", is currently under development, with the release date yet to be determined.
Lacus Clyne was originally the daughter of the moderate faction chairman of P.L.A.N.T, and actively worked in both public and private sectors as an idol singer advocating for peace. After several encounters with Kira Yamato, she became even more determined to take action to stop the war between the Earth Alliance and P.L.A.N.T. She subsequently left P.L.A.N.T to join Kira, forming an independent force and becoming a key figure in ending two major wars. In C.E. 75, the setting of "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM", after the end of the great war, the anti-Coordinator organization "Blue Cosmos" continued to stir up conflicts worldwide. The formerly opposing Earth Alliance and P.L.A.N.T, along with the neutral nation Orb, jointly established the world peace monitoring organization "COMPASS", with Lacus Clyne serving as its first president.
The "GGG Lacus Clyne Pilot Suit ver." will be sculpted based on her appearance in a pilot suit during the final battle in the series. From the currently released prototype silhouette, some costume details and the flowing long hair after removing her helmet can be seen. Detailed product information will be announced at a later date.
