Following 2022's "Optimus Prime", the Danish LEGO toy company is set to release the latest product from Transformers in its LEGO Icons series: "10338 Bumblebee"! It is scheduled for release on July 1, 2024, with a suggested retail price of US$89.99.
This set is built with a total of 950 pieces, and its overall design is based on the classic G1 aesthetic. In robot mode, Bumblebee stands approximately 24 cm tall, which is nearly ⅓ smaller than the 35 cm tall Optimus Prime – they will undoubtedly look fantastic displayed together! The Autobot insignia on the face, thighs, and chest appears to be printed, but several other parts of the body, including the license plate, are decorated with stickers. The front-facing design and the accent of light blue transparent parts look quite good, though a hollow space in the torso can be noticed from the back.

The vehicle mode is the yellow Volkswagen Beetle that all toy enthusiasts are undoubtedly familiar with. I personally absolutely love the car's lines; the short, rounded body is fantastic. Looking into the car from the front windshield, you can spot a 1x1 transparent bee-printed tile. The license plate on the rear of the car also features various playful slogans, perfectly matching Bumblebee's personality. I can't wait to get my hands on it!
