The Brave Express Might Gaine

In a future world where oil has been depleted and cars and planes have fallen into disuse, the capital city relies on electric railways as its primary mode of transport. This city, Neo Tokyo City, known as the "Future Arterial City of the Sea," hides a sinister, dark criminal shadow stirring in its depths, posing a great threat to its people.
At this time, the Senpuuji Conglomerate, a massive corporation that controls the electric railways and is known as the world's number one railway king, is led by the handsome, wealthy, and heroic young president, Maito Senpuuji. Following the sudden death of his parents in a train accident, he has taken on this heavy responsibility. Combining a super AI system developed by his late father with the various trains under his group's command, he forms the Brave Express Team, dedicated to annihilating evil, upholding justice, and defending a happy future. When Neo Tokyo City is plunged into the abyss of crime, Maito Senpuuji and his Brave Express Team arrive right on time to protect the future and happiness of humanity!
Might Gaine (マイトガイン, Taiwanese translation: 特急勇者)

When Maito activates the commander on his wrist and shouts, "Let's go, Might Gaine!", Gaine and Might Wing split to the left and right, with the steam locomotive below, forming a triangle. Gaine and Might Wing then transform into the left and right arms, while the steam locomotive transforms into Might Gaine's entire body, completing the "Express Combination" and becoming the Brave Express Team's first combining robot. The steam locomotive can also store Gaine in its train mode and Might Wing. Its weapons include the Might Boomerang, Dourinken, and Might Vulcan.
It has a combination attack with Might Kaiser. In episode 28 of the anime, Might Gaine and Might Kaiser perform a joint flying kick. In the game series "Brave Saga," it's a simultaneous attack where Might Gaine uses the Dourinken and Might Kaiser uses the Drill Crusher.
Its special moves include the Signal Beam and the "Vertical Slash," a powerful aerial sword strike that can cleave an enemy robot in two, along with its variations, the Horizontal Slash and the Cross Slash. In the first half of the story, it is piloted by the protagonist Maito to fight against criminal robots, and its strength is on par with Hiryu. However, due to its lack of flight capability, it was defeated by Hiryu. Later, after being repaired, it gains the ability to transform and combine on its own, fighting alongside Maito, who pilots Might Kaiser in the latter half of the series.
From the anime "#TheBraveExpressMightGaine", the complete combining toy "THE GATTAI Might Gaine" is here!
In Might Gaine form, the figure stands at approximately 26cm tall. It perfectly recreates the combination of the three mechs—"Gaine," "Might Wing," and "Locomorizer"—into "Might Gaine"! Gaine features a transformation mechanism for its vehicle mode and Might Gaine's left arm. Despite its compact size, it is a fully articulated figure with movable joints! Might Wing recreates the transformation into its flight mode and Might Gaine's right arm. You can display it in flight mode using the dedicated stand. The combined #MightGaine form also ensures a wide range of articulation, allowing you to recreate dynamic action poses. The Dourinken comes in two versions: a normal state and a special attack state.
The set includes #Gaine, #MightWing, #Locomorizer, #Dourinken, Dourinken (special attack state), Gaine Shot, an appearance-focused tail wing for Might Wing, interchangeable hands, and a stand for Might Wing.
I'm not sure how everyone else rates transformable toys, but for me personally, more complexity doesn't automatically mean a higher score. What's most important is that the transformation process gives you a sense of "play"!
The transformations of typical third-party Transformers or Macross figures aren't really that much fun. But this "The Gattai" figure completely satisfies my requirements for a fun transforming toy!
The overall transformation is incredibly smooth and satisfying. The design also strikes a great balance between the Masami Obari-esque style and the vehicle modes! As for articulation... honestly, they did their best. The biggest failure is the lack of a waist swivel. Another drawback is that while the lines are beautiful, there are no fine details to speak of! Just look at the paint on the skirt armor—it can be described in one simple word: "Lazy"......
That said, because the paint application is simple, or even non-existent in some areas, the QC is actually quite good! The joints aren't exceptionally tight, so if you play with it a lot in the future, there's a high chance the arm joints will loosen.
Anyway, I'm personally satisfied with the appearance, and its three-part transformation gave me some genuine fun and surprises, so overall, I still give it a high score!
I hope Good Smile will continue to maintain this standard! Even better, if they could make improvements in the level of detail, it would be perfect!
