Issued by TAMASHII NATIONS, the collectibles division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Company, the "S.H.MonsterArts" series, which combines exquisite monster sculpting with outstanding articulation technology, is once again releasing a new product based on the movie "Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire" – the "Shimo" (SHIMO) action figure, following the "Skar King." The suggested retail price is 27,500 JPY, and it is scheduled for release in January 2025!
Appearing in this year's newly released "Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire," "Shimo" is a Titan covered in pure white scales, with blue ice crystal dorsal fins growing along its spine. It possesses the ability to control cold or generate extreme low-temperature environments. In the film, it was controlled by Skar King using a crystal, and its powerful icy aura once plunged Kong and Godzilla into a fierce struggle!
This S.H.MonsterArts Shimo sculpt captures its tall, robust, and lean physique. Its translucent blue ice crystal dorsal fins are crafted from clear plastic parts, and its body is painted to faithfully recreate its frost-white scales. Delicate pearlescent light purple paint is applied to the eyelids and joints, creating an iridescent effect that adds depth and layering to the overall white appearance! Following the mechanical arm for Kong included with Skar King, this Shimo figure will also come with an interchangeable face part for the previously released "Kong (2024)," adding even more playability!
