Released by Japan's GOOD SMILE COMPANY, from their popular "Nendoroid" series which boasts over a thousand different products, comes the latest announcement from the classic shojo manga "NANA": the "Nendoroid Nana Osaki" articulated figure. It has a suggested retail price of 7,200 JPY and is scheduled for release in December 2024.
The shojo manga "NANA" by Japanese manga artist Ai Yazawa tells the story of two girls both named Nana. The innocent and cute Nana Komatsu (小松 奈々) and the independent and strong Nana Osaki (大崎 ナナ), despite their vastly different personalities, are surprisingly compatible. They support each other as they pursue their dreams and chase love amidst the complexities of romance and aspirations. The story's diverse topics and rich themes are a cherished youth memory for many born in the 70s and 80s. However, the series has been on hiatus since 2009 with no news of its resumption, making it a prominent title on the "In Our Lifetime" series list.
The "Nendoroid Nana Osaki" articulated figure stands approximately 10 cm tall. It recreates the cool and stylish Nana in an adorable Q-version (chibi) form, capturing her punk rock style that is both cool and sexy. The lotus tattoo on her arm is also delicately rendered! It comes with three interchangeable face plates: a confident "dignified smile face," an expressionless "cool face," and a charming "winking face." Accessories include a "guitar," "microphone stand," "cigarette," and "strawberry glass," among others, allowing you to enjoy Nana in various situations!
