The popular action figure series "S.H.Figuarts," released by TAMASHII NATIONS, the collector's toy division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Co., Ltd., following Suletta Mercury and Miorine Rembran, has announced a new product from "Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury": the "Guel Jeturk" action figure. It has a suggested retail price of 9,900 JPY and is scheduled for release in December 2024!
Guel Jeturk, heir to the Jeturk House, one of the Benerit Group's three major corporations, is a third-year piloting student. He was originally the top-ranked pilot in the entire academy, displaying the arrogant temperament of a spoiled rich kid, unruly and conceited, leveraging his family's power within the school. Upon his first appearance, he held the title of the strongest defending champion and was also Miorine Rembran's fiancé. However, after being defeated in a duel by the newly transferred Suletta and being forced to withdraw from school by his father, his initial arrogance was extinguished. Later, he experienced shocking events such as accidentally killing his father and being kidnapped, hitting rock bottom in his life. When he returned, he was a completely different, mature man, and he had also become friends with Suletta.
The "S.H.Figuarts Guel Jeturk" action figure stands approximately 16 cm tall, faithfully recreating Guel's brown skin, pink-dyed bangs, and the mole near his right eye, among other features. It also replicates his iconic style of wearing his jacket draped over his shoulders; the jacket sleeves are designed with articulated joints, allowing them to be posed at various angles as he moves. It includes interchangeable long hair parts for his early "prince" appearance and short hair parts for his later look. Additionally, it comes with multiple interchangeable facial expressions, "crossed arms" replacement parts, a student ID card, and other accessories, allowing fans to recreate memorable scenes from the series!
