Japan's Megahouse toy company, under its high-quality "G.E.M." series which brings anime and manga characters to life, following the release of "Yusuke" and "Kurama" based on the classic anime "Yu Yu Hakusho," has announced its latest product: "Hiei in the Palm." The suggested retail price is 7,920 JPY, and it is scheduled for release in December 2024!
The popular character Hiei (ひえい) from "Yu☆Yu☆Hakusho" is the son of an ice maiden born in the Land of Glaciers. He was abandoned by his clan at birth, deemed a cursed child who would bring disaster. To search for the Ice Tear Stone left by his birth mother, Hina, he had a third eye, the "Jagan" (Evil Eye), implanted. He excels in swordsmanship and the "Jao Ensatsu-ken" (Evil King Incineration Fist), a fighting technique that manipulates the Black Flames of the Demon World. Due to his overwhelming and uncontrollable power, he must use bandages to bind his right arm and the Jagan to seal the power of the Jao Kokuryuha (Evil King Black Dragon).
The "G.E.M. Hiei in the Palm" PVC pre-painted figure transforms the cool Hiei into a compact size that fits in your palm, standing at only approximately 8.5 cm tall, yet the sculpting is absolutely meticulous! It faithfully recreates his attire from the "Dark Tournament Saga," with a pitch-black vest and gi, a cinched waist that accentuates his physique, and bandages sealing his mysterious power—all details are intricately sculpted.
