The assembly model "MODEROID" series, launched by the Japanese brand MECHA SMILE, recently announced its brand-new sub-series currently under development, "Mini Combined Transformation," and simultaneously revealed a prototype of the new product "Gunbuster" from "Gunbuster: Aim for the Top!"

The main feature of "MODEROID Mini Combined Transformation" is to achieve a transforming and combining robot without leftover parts at a mini size of 11.5 cm. Japanese prototype sculptor Alan Moriguchi is responsible for the overall transformation mechanism, sculpting, and articulation design of the product. It adopts a completely different mechanism from the original setting, achieving a product that combines playability, cool styling, and complete transforming combination.

For its first revealed product, the series specifically chose "Gunbuster," a machine impossible to achieve in real-world physics. Original transformation and combination mechanisms are integrated into Buster Machine 1 and Buster Machine 2. After the two machines transform and combine, the Gunbuster, with a total height of approximately 11.5 cm, is completed. The overall design cleverly incorporates armor styling and articulated joints into the battleship forms, thoroughly recreating the robust limb design and powerful physique after combination.
