The robot-themed action figure series 『ROBOT Damashii ver. A.N.I.M.E.』, released by TAMASHII NATIONS, the collector's toy division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Co., Ltd., officially announced today the latest product from《Mobile Suit Gundam SEED C.E.73 STARGAZER》, the 「Strike Noir Gundam」, slated for release in November 2024.
The GAT-X105E＋AQM/E-X09S Strike Noir Gundam is a mobile suit born from the "Actaeon Project," combining the enhanced model 「Strike Gundam E-Type」, a reproduction and improvement of the Strike Gundam, with the new equipment 「Noir Striker Pack」, an evolution of the I.W.S.P. backpack. Due to its voltage settings, its VPS armor appears black, hence its name "Noir" (French for black). This mobile suit not only features significant improvements in its operating system but also boasts high maneuverability in aerial combat, reminiscent of the Freedom Gundam, thanks to the variable-wing firing capabilities of the Noir Striker Pack. It employs a flexible combat style with armaments such as two Short Beam Rifles and the Lucian's Answer Beam Sabers.
The 「ROBOT Damashii Strike Noir Gundam ver. A.N.I.M.E.」 is based on previously released Strike Gundam models, utilizing numerous new parts to recreate the distinctive E-Type armaments, Noir color scheme, and the refined design from the anime setting materials. The articulation joints are also fundamentally produced to the same specifications, including pull-out shoulder joints, chest and abdomen joints that can bend forward nearly 90 degrees, and movable calf designs that enhance ground contact, providing an extremely flexible range of motion.
Armament accessories include 6 pairs of interchangeable hand parts, beam effects, the characteristic dual-gun armament 「57mm High-Energy Beam Rifle」, 「Short Beam Rifles」 that can be stored in the side skirts, and 「Wire Anchor Launchers」 that can recreate firing from both palms. Furthermore, the 「Noir Striker Pack」 mounted on the back not only allows for variable wing deployment through multi-axis articulation but can also deploy its internal armaments, including two 「Lucian's Answer Beam Sabers」 and 「Railguns」.
