Japanese model manufacturer Kotobukiya, in collaboration with illustrator En Morikura, today announced the upcoming release of a new product for their everyday-life bishojo plastic model kit series, "Sousai Shojo Teien": the "Dress-Up Body M", scheduled for December 2024.

The newly introduced "Dress-Up Body" is a customizable articulated body designed to be used with separately sold fabric clothing parts, allowing for free dress-up options for "Sousai Shojo Teien" characters, who currently only feature uniform and swimsuit designs. It can be paired with Kotobukiya's own "Tiny Closet" dress-up accessory series or 15cm scale doll clothes from other manufacturers.

The "Dress-Up Body M" comes with two types of articulated bodies, one with and one without an upper body sports bra. For the lower body, various styles can be chosen, such as briefs, sports shorts, short socks, long socks, over-the-knee socks, or bare legs, to match appropriate clothing types.

In addition, accessories include various hand parts, three different lengths of neck parts, and neck ball joint parts in two diameters (5mm/6mm). Each neck specification is "compatible with Sousai Shojo Teien series," "compatible with Megami Device series," and "compatible with doll outfits," respectively. By replacing the 5mm/6mm ball joint parts, heads from series such as Frame Arms Girl, Arcanadea, etc., can be connected.
