STORY
In 2022 Japan, the government's announcement of human coexistence with Kaijin (monsters) plunged the nation into a political and social crisis. When Kotaro Minami, a world-weary former member of the "Horyu Goninshu," encounters Aoi Izumi, a young human rights advocate who champions peaceful coexistence, Kotaro faces a fated conflict with his former comrade Nobuhiko Akizuki, stemming from their differing ideals. Their clash will shatter the current social order and determine the fate of all Kaijin...
Kamen Rider Black Sun
The second-stage basic form that Kotaro Minami transforms into using the "Century King Sun Driver." He wields the "Century King Black Blade" as his weapon.
Kamen Rider Black Sun is predominantly black, featuring dark red eyes and black antennae. His face has orange lines, and his mouth area is silver, resembling that of a locust. Extending from his chest over his shoulders to his back are two leg-like appendages, which can be detached and used as spiked weapons. His arms and legs also feature muscular, spiked skin with orange lines. The "∞" mark on his left chest was drawn by Aoi with her bitten finger when Kotaro was revived after being defeated by Kamen Rider Shadow Moon.
Overall height approximately 150mm. The overall design and appearance are closer to the live-action version and more aesthetically pleasing, making its sculpt impeccable! Different lusters have been added to various parts of the pitch-black body, showcasing a realistic texture. Furthermore, the compound eyes, various curves, and belt painting match the colors from his first transformation into "Kamen Rider BLACK SUN" in Episode 5. It can recreate the powerful scenes of his initial transformation into "Kamen Rider BLACK SUN."
The head, chest armor, and other parts, which differ from Shadow Moon's design, are faithfully recreated with new sculpting. The entire body's coloration also reflects the distinct colors from his first transformation. QC, coloring, and paint application are commendable! Accessories include 4 types of interchangeable left and right wrists, the Black Blade weapon, a weapon grip handle, and an interchangeable chest part. The playability is quite good! Black Sun's overall articulation is also excellent, with appropriate joint tightness, allowing for stable single-leg poses. New joint parts have been adopted, allowing not only bending but also "twisting" movements at the elbows and knees, so you don't have to worry about posing him in any scene from the show.
A commemorative item for "TAMASHII NATION 2023"! A must-have for Black Sun fans!
