Following the "The Last Ronin Casey Jones," American toy manufacturer NECA's high-quality 7-inch action figure series "Ultimate" has officially unveiled a new product based on the American comic "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin" – the "Ultimate Flashback Michelangelo" 7-inch action figure. With a suggested retail price of US$34.99, it is now available at prominent US retailers like Walmart and other designated channels!
The design of "The Last Ronin Flashback Michelangelo," like "The Last Ronin Casey Jones," originates from the memory seen by the Last Ronin in Fugitoid's data banks in issue #3 of "The Last Ronin" comic. This was the protagonists' final gathering after Raphael's demise. After sending Splinter and Donatello to negotiate with Oroku Hiroto, the remaining companions united to fight Dr. Baxter. Leonardo and Casey stayed behind to confront the continuous influx of Foot Clan soldiers, while Michelangelo was tasked with ensuring the safety of April and Fugitoid.
This product faithfully recreates Michelangelo's orange-hued samurai armor design from issue #3 of the comic, with detailed sculpting on the armor and bindings. The black line art continues the strong comic book aesthetic of this series. The two sets of nunchaku accessories can be stored on Michelangelo's chest, just like in the comic, or held by interchangeable hands to recreate various dynamic combat poses! For the packaging, "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin" comic artist Ben Bishop was once again invited to personally draw the illustration. The side art can be combined with other "The Last Ronin" series products, significantly enhancing the collectible value of this series' packaging!
