Japanese model manufacturer Sentinel's popular die-cast action figure series, 『RIOBOT』, today announced its latest product from the "Super Robot Wars" series, "Mazin Emperor G", slated for release in November 2024.
First appearing in "Super Robot Wars V", the original Mazin unit Mazin Emperor G is set as the successor to Great Mazinger, piloted by Tetsuya Tsurugi. Developed with the aid of "Getter Ray" technology, which possesses the power of evolution, its purpose is to suppress the gradually Mazin-ized Mazinger ZERO, and it possesses immense power capable of rivaling ZERO.
"RIOBOT Mazin Emperor G" continues the design style of the acclaimed "RIOBOT Mazinkaiser", using it as a base while incorporating numerous new parts to recreate the distinctive head, Emperor Aura, heat sinks, and other various features. It retains the articulated joint design and high-density detailed armor styling. The internal frame and some armor parts are made of die-cast material, enhancing the overall metallic texture and the satisfying weight when handled.
Standing at 21.5 cm tall, the body features flexible articulated joints and incorporates various play mechanisms. These include a head that can combine with the Hover Pilder, a newly added locking mechanism for the Emperor Aura on the back, and eight independently movable cape-like wings. The chest heat sinks also feature an expanding and movable mechanism, which not only reduces articulation interference but also allows for the recreation of the "Mazin Flame" attack pose.
For weaponry, the figure includes dedicated hand parts to recreate "Thunder Break", replacement parts for "Mazin Crusher Punch", two "Emperor Swords" with transforming crossguards and connectable hilt parts, and the large weapon "Emperor Blade", measuring approximately 26.5 cm in length, used to unleash the special move Blade Flash.
Furthermore, customers who purchase this product through official channels such as SEN-TI-NEL STORE and D4TOYS will receive exclusive bonus items: Emperor Pilder (Flight Mode), Mazinger Wings, and Emperor Aura (Booster Mode), allowing for the recreation of the launch pose for the super special move "Aura Booster G".
