Following "JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Phantom Blood Jonathan & Dio," Japanese company Sentinel's latest series, "FIGURE MUSEUM," is releasing a new "JoJo's Bizarre Adventure" themed product: the "JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Part 2: Battle Tendency Joseph Joestar" 1/8 scale pre-painted figure. It is priced at 18,000 JPY and is scheduled for release in December 2024!
The second part of the "JoJo's Bizarre Adventure" series created by the genius manga artist Hirohiko Araki, "Battle Tendency," is set 50 years after "Phantom Blood" in 1938 New York, USA. Jonathan Joestar's grandson, Joseph Joestar, inherits the power of Hamon and embarks on an adventure with his allies Caesar Anthonio Zeppeli and Lisa Lisa to fight against the powerful ancient beings known as the "Pillar Men." Joseph's personality is completely unlike his grandfather Jonathan's gentlemanly demeanor; he is a laid-back, frivolous, and even somewhat cunning protagonist. However, it is precisely these clever tricks that allow him to defeat the Pillar Men, who are far stronger than him. His role even extends into Part 3 and Part 4, making him Araki-sensei's third favorite JoJo!
This "JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Part 2: Battle Tendency Joseph Joestar" 1/8 scale pre-painted figure stands approximately 26 cm tall. It is sculpted to recreate the scene from the series where Joseph ties Caesar's bandana around his forehead during his battle against his rival Wamuu in the arena. The figure meticulously captures Joseph's muscular physique, his dynamic pose, and the flowing movement of his scarf. The gears on the base can be connected with previously released figures of Jonathan and future releases in the series, symbolizing the turning of the gears of destiny, which is quite exciting!
Purchasing this product from the Sentinel store will also include an exclusive bonus: an interchangeable hand holding a large hammer and a smiling face part, recreating another scene from his battle with Wamuu in the arena!
