Japanese high-quality statue manufacturer Prime 1 Studio's "Museum Masterline" series introduces a new product based on the 2023 film Transformers: Rise of the Beasts—the "Optimus Primal Ultimate Version" collectible statue. The suggested retail price is US$2,299, limited to 350 units worldwide, and is expected to ship in Q4 2025!
Transformers: Rise of the Beasts is an adaptation based on the 1996 animated spin-off series Beast Wars: Transformers and its original toy line. In the story, the Autobots team up with the Maximals to face threats from the Terrorcons, sent by Unicron. Optimus Primal, the leader of the Maximals, was initially set as a direct descendant of the legendary Autobot leader Optimus Prime, and the film also explains that his name "Optimus Primal" is a transformation of Optimus Prime.
The regular version of this Optimus Primal collectible statue only includes Optimus Primal in his robot mode. The Ultimate Version, however, adds a base featuring his beast mode, bringing the overall height to an astonishing 96 cm. It meticulously recreates various scratches on his armor and uses flocking to reproduce the texture of his fur. The robot mode above depicts Optimus Primal standing amidst ruins, wielding dual swords, while the beast mode pins down the decapitated remains of Scorponok on the ground, showcasing the commanding presence of the Maximal leader!
Both the beast and robot mode heads feature interchangeable parts, allowing for switching between open and closed mouth expressions. Furthermore, the eyes of both modes, the beast mode's mouth, and the Maximal logo at the front of the statue are equipped with LED light-up functions, significantly enhancing the overall visual effect!
