The poseable robot product series "ROBOT SPIRITS," released by TAMASHII NATIONS, the collector's toy division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Co., Ltd., is scheduled to launch a poseable toy of the BOSS unit "IB-C03: HAL 826 / Handler Walter" from the popular video game "Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon" in November 2024! The price will be 19,250 JPY.
Players who enjoy controlling robots in various 3D shooting action battles are certainly no strangers to the Armored Core series. It also comes from the renowned Japanese game company "From Software," known for producing popular high-difficulty action games like "Dark Souls," "Sekiro," and "Elden Ring." Its difficulty is, of course, among the highest, but the battles are incredibly thrilling, filled with the intense feeling of robots clashing amidst gunfire. The latest installment, "Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon," is the sixth main title in the series after a 10-year hiatus, released on multiple platforms in August 2023.
Handler Walter, who often provides much assistance to the protagonist "621" in the game, appears before the player in the "Liberator of Rubicon" ending, piloting this "IB-C03: HAL 826." It is equipped with a power unit primarily fueled by Coral and features Coral weaponry. In the game, his attacks are quite formidable; successfully defeating him allows players to use its parts.
This ROBOT SPIRITS "IB-C03: HAL 826" poseable toy stands approximately 15 cm tall, faithfully recreating the unit piloted by Handler Walter in the game. Its metallic red exterior is striking and textured. The armaments can be deployed and retracted to reproduce attacking or non-attacking poses. The rifle on the right arm can be displayed in an expanded state by swapping parts, and the thrusters on the back can also be deployed. In addition to weapons, accessories include interchangeable left and right hand parts.
