"SHIBUYA SCRAMBLE FIGURE," the high-quality collectible figure brand under eStream, a subsidiary of Japanese IT group CyberZ (CyberZ, Inc.), recently announced a new product based on the popular anime "Date A Live"—the "Tohka Yatogami - Princess Amethyst Dress Ver." 1/7 scale pre-painted figure. It has a suggested retail price of 30,800 JPY and is scheduled for release in June 2025!
"Date A Live" (デート・ア・ライブ) is a light novel series written by Koushi Tachibana and illustrated by Tsunako. It was adapted into an anime in 2013 by AIC PLUS+, with subsequent seasons handled by Production IMS, J.C.STAFF, and GEEK TOYS. The story follows protagonist Shido Itsuka, who must date Spirits and make them fall in love with him to prevent the world from being destroyed by their immense power.
The first Spirit to appear before Shido in the series, "Tohka Yatogami," possesses superhuman strength and combat abilities, yet her personality is incredibly pure and adorable, a bit of a ditz, and she has an astonishing appetite. This "Tohka Yatogami - Princess Amethyst Dress Ver." stands approximately 32.3 cm tall. The various shapes and intricate pleats of her Princess Amethyst Dress are crafted from transparent PVC material. A metal stand supports Tohka's airborne pose, with the flowing movement of her dress and hair meticulously rendered! Tohka holds her Angel, "Sandalphon" (サンダルフォン), in her hand, and combined with the magnificent, voluminous effect parts, her powerful and gorgeous aura is perfectly showcased!
