GOOD SMILE COMPANY of Japan has announced the latest addition to its popular "Nendoroid" series, which boasts over a thousand different products: the "Nendoroid Bravern" articulated figure from the anime Brave Bang Bravern!. It is priced at 6,500 JPY and is scheduled for release in February 2025.
The TV anime Brave Bang Bravern!, which premiered in January 2024, is an original robot anime that pays homage to the "Brave Series" style, from Brave Exkaiser to The King of Braves GaoGaiGar. It is planned by Cygames and directed by renowned animator Masami Obari. The story is set in an era where armored weapons called "Titano Stride (TS)" are prevalent. As various national armies gather on Oahu, Hawaii, for exercises, an unknown colossal enemy from outer space suddenly attacks Earth... Just as protagonist Isami Ao faces a critical situation—the mysterious super robot "Bravern" suddenly appears! Bravern allows Isami to enter its body, and through their fervent and passionate combination, an even more surging power is unleashed! Can combining truly repel the invading alien forces with ease?
The "Nendoroid Bravern" stands approximately 12 cm tall, adorably recreating Bravern's cool mecha design in a chibi style. The metallic color scheme adds a sense of substantiality to the overall figure. It comes with several face plates: a slightly annoying "smiling face," a difficult-to-maintain serious "normal face," and a "shouting face" as if hearing a voice. Accessories include the weapon "Vern Blade," a "microphone" for its super passionate speeches, a "hot dog" that can be hung on its head, and an unpainted "assembly-type mini Isami model." It's a shame Isami isn't a nude version...!
