Japanese figure manufacturer FREEing, known for its 'B-Style' series which creates elaborate character figures on a large scale, recently announced the latest product from the anime "Martian Successor Nadesico": the 'Hoshino Ruri Bunny Ver. 1/6 Scale Figure', slated for release in March 2025.

Hoshino Ruri, a highly popular character from "Martian Successor Nadesico", possessed an extraordinary genius intellect and exceptional battleship operating skills at just 11 years old, earning her the moniker "Electronic Fairy". Ruri regarded the Nadesico's main computer, "Omoikane", as a close friend, while maintaining distance from other humans and rarely showing emotion. After the war against the "Jovian Lizards" concluded, she was adopted by the protagonists Akito Tenkawa and Yurika Misumaru, gaining her first true "family". Within just five years, she grew to become the excellent captain of the new Nadesico.

The 'Hoshino Ruri Bunny Ver. 1/6 Scale Figure' boasts an impressive height of 30 cm, showcasing her adorable appearance in a bunny girl outfit. The overall design is based on her TV-era twin-tail hairstyle, featuring a slender, unexaggerated physique and a nostalgic backward glance. As a consistent feature of the series, the fishnet stockings are made from real fabric, providing a more authentic look.
