MEGAHOUSE, a Japanese model manufacturer, has announced the re-release of the classic product "Marida Cruz" from "Mobile Suit Gundam UC", part of their 1/8 scale pre-painted figure series "RAHDX G.A.NEO", scheduled for December 2024.
The "Puru Series" was cultivated under the leadership of the ambitious Neo Zeon young general Glemy Toto, resulting in the replication of over 12 enhanced human sisters. They shared similar appearances and possessed exceptional Newtype abilities, capable of piloting mobile suits like the Mass Production Type Qubeley, which were equipped with 30 funnels. However, the fate of these girls, born as weapons, was tragic; most of the Puru series perished during the First Neo Zeon War. Even Puru Twelve, "Marida Cruz", who survived into the era of "Gundam UC", endured painful memories of being sold to a brothel and forced abortion, only finding a chance at rebirth after being adopted by Captain Zinnerman.
The "Excellent Model RAHDX G.A.NEO Marida Cruz" is a re-release of the 2011 version with renewed packaging. Standing at a height of 17 cm, it three-dimensionalizes Marida in her "Sleeves" pilot suit, meticulously capturing her emotionless face and the curves of her body enveloped by the suit. The base features a golden "Neo Zeon" emblem design, holding Marida in a special angle to present a cool sitting pose.
