CAPCOM Co., Ltd. Japan has recently announced the latest product from its high-quality finished figure series, 'CAPCOM FIGURE BUILDER Creator's Model,' based on its game IP. The 'Lunastra' figure from 'Monster Hunter' is scheduled for release on March 13, 2025.

Lunastra is the female individual of the Elder Dragon species 'Teostra.' While she possesses a distinct azure body color and flames, she shares the ability to freely manipulate fire. After her return to 'Monster Hunter: World' after a decade, she gained various new combat styles and habits, with a new lore setting that describes her as 'becoming irritable during her breeding season.' When reunited with Teostra, the pair can unleash terrifying combined attacks, causing large-scale explosions, making her even more formidable compared to her appearances in 'Monster Hunter 2' era.

For the 'CFB Creator's Model Lunastra,' Tatsuya Furuichi and Ryu Oyama, who previously worked on the Teostra statue in the same series, were once again invited to handle the prototype sculpting and supervision, respectively. They meticulously sculpted the intricate scale patterns across her body, her flowing mane, and her massive wings. The entire figure is painted with various shades of blue to create a glossy, gradient azure body color, conveying a mysterious and elegant impression.

This figure's pose is specially designed to complement the 'Teostra' figure, creating a paired display. In contrast to Teostra's dynamic pose, Lunastra's posture embodies a static beauty. Displaying the pair together allows for an appreciation of the contrast between motion and stillness, and invites observers to discover the subtle differences in detail that the same sculptors crafted between the male and female individuals.
