TAITO Corporation (株式会社タイトー) of Japan recently unveiled new additions to its "Desktop Cute" prize figure series on X (formerly Twitter) for the "Bocchi the Rock!" theme. In addition to "Hitori Gotoh," another new product, "Ryo Yamada," was also announced, slated for release as a prize figure in September 2024!
Ryo Yamada, the bassist for Kessoku Band, attends Shimokitazawa High School, just like Nijika, and was the second member Bocchi met in the band. Ryo has a calm and cool personality, often expressionless, and enjoys teasing others, frequently being perceived as eccentric. She also often borrows money with various excuses and never repays it. However, Ryo possesses excellent musical knowledge and taste, and is responsible for composing within the band, making her a highly talented girl!
For this Desktop Cute series, Ryo is depicted in an original casual outfit featuring a loose-fitting T-shirt, sweatpants, and a hooded jacket. Her relaxed sitting pose exudes an eccentric, cool, and stylish aura! Her blue hair is also crafted from transparent PVC to create a translucent visual effect, and the paintwork meticulously recreates details such as the tear mole at the corner of her eye. Compared to Bocchi, who is released in the same month, Ryo emanates her unique calm charm!
