GOOD SMILE COMPANY's popular Nendoroid (ねんどろいど) series from Japan has announced its latest product from "Oshi no Ko": "Ruby (ルビー) School Uniform Ver."! It is scheduled for release in December 2024, with a suggested retail price of 6,100 JPY (tax included).
Ruby, whose real name is Hoshino Rubii, is the fraternal twin daughter of the popular idol "Hoshino Ai" and Aqua's twin sister. In her previous life, she was "Tendouji Sarina," a patient cared for by "Amemiya Gorou," who passed away at the age of 12 due to a serious illness. After reincarnation, she became the daughter of her favorite idol. Because she retained memories from her past life, she was very precocious from infancy and aspired to become an idol from a young age. After entering the performing arts department in high school, she formed the idol group "B-Komachi" with Arima Kana and MEM-cho, inheriting her mother's legacy.
Following the idol costume appearance for the debut of the new B-Komachi, Ruby now reappears in the Nendoroid series in her high school uniform! Standing approximately 10 cm tall, in addition to faithfully recreating the Yoto High School uniform and the prominent bow on her chest, she also expresses Ruby's charm with vivid and rich expression parts! These include a smiling face that recreates her sparkling eyes, a squinting smiling face, and a delightfully shy face. Also included are a flyer and script for the stage play adapted from the manga "Tokyo BLADE (東京ブレイド)."
