GOOD SMILE COMPANY's affordable pre-painted figure series "POP UP PARADE", following "Frieren", is once again featuring the popular anime "Frieren: Beyond Journey's End" with its latest product, the "POP UP PARADE Fern" PVC figure! Priced at 4,800 JPY, it is scheduled for release in December 2024!
In the Japanese manga "Frieren: Beyond Journey's End", originally written by Kanehito Yamada and illustrated by Tsukasa Abe, Frieren's apprentice—Fern (フェルン)—is a war orphan raised by Heiter, possessing a very calm and composed personality. Entrusted by Heiter, she travels with Frieren, caring for the somewhat lazy Frieren like a mother.
The "POP UP PARADE Fern" pre-painted figure stands approximately 17 cm tall, faithfully recreating Fern's characteristic long purple hair and modest black robe. Her serene expression exudes a composed charm! The details of her hair ornament and the folds of her attire are meticulously sculpted. Her pose, gently touching her hair, and the upward sweep of her hair add a dynamic feel to the overall presentation; the white dress is enhanced with shadow painting to express a sense of three-dimensionality.
